About the project.

Suntec, based in Donji Vidovec, makes plastic cups for drinks and dairy, from film extrusion to thermoforming and printing.

The project introduces new, technologically advanced equipment for greater resource efficiency, a sustainable supply of resources, lower emissions and the decarbonisation of production.

It contributes to climate change mitigation and adaptation, the circular economy, pollution prevention, biodiversity protection and a more resilient business. Its target groups are employees, customers and society as a whole.

Our approach.

  • We structured the project so that each new machine is tied to a specific loss it removes: scrap, raw material, energy or time.
  • We prepared the application, the investment study and the environmental assessment under the “do no significant harm” (DNSH) principle, aligned with the certified engineer's savings calculation.
  • We handled the clarifications during evaluation and the documents for the grant agreement.

Result.

€527,193 in grants approved, the maximum possible amount for the project's eligible costs. The project is under implementation.

Results of previous projects are no guarantee for a new application. The competent authority decides on the award.
